Adele Park Writer, Producer, Editor
After spending 20 years working as a televison and radio news reporter, anchor and on-air personality, I decided to put together my own media company. I formed Straight to Audio Productions, L.L.C. in 2008 and produced my first audio book. Having my own studio allows me to really indulge my inner production geek. In addition to the joy that comes with the creative process, editing - audio or video - is an activity that places me squarely in the moment. I've had a total blast working with the sensational cast of Jitters - A Quirky Little Audio Book. Special thanks to Chrys Hyatt and Desiree Whitehead for assembling such a fabulous group of actors.
Chrystine Hyatt Casting Director
I graduated with a B.A. from Southern Utah University in Theatre and Language Arts. I've also directed and appeared in various productions for Regional, University, and Community Theater including the Utah Shakespearean Festival, The Space Between Theatre Co., Dixie State College, Neil Simon Festival and Tuacahn Center for the Arts. I've done voice-overs for Feature Films for Families. Currently, I teach Theater and English, and I'm also an on-air personality & PSA Director for Cherry Creek Radio. We live in southern Utah where our family raises Paso Fino Horses.
Desiree Whitehead Cast Manager
I have been involved in the theater for many years. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with Theater Arts and Psychology Minors from Southern Utah University. I love working with my mother, Chrys Hyatt. We have done many projects together, directing and stage managing. We are both very creative and we see things the same way. I am the organizational one and she is the gifted, artistic one. I put things together and she brings it to life. We make a good team!
John Hawley Sound Technician, CD Mastering
I graduated from the Conservatory for Recording Arts and Sciences in 2002 before beginning my career at Strate Sound Recording Studios in San Diego. I worked as the studio's primary engineer for two and a half years before moving to St. George, UT. I spent the next two years at KCSG TV as a broadcast engineer/live news audio operator before taking a job at Spiral Recording Studios where I stayed for another two years. I currently work for Poll Sound (a live sound/ audio video integration company) as a live sound engineer, and do many types of production work as a freelance studio engineer. I am also a senior at Dixie State College, earning a degree in Computer Science.
Quin Browne Script Advisor
I was born and raised in the New Orleans area, and found my voice in New York City. I worked in theater and film, as a writer, continuity director and props designer. My flash fiction is published both online and in print, and I find the genre to be vastly challenging. It's been a hoot working on this project, and, with luck, my kids will now see why it's a good idea to have a head full of odd facts.
Many thanks to my Distributor, Jessica Kaye of Big Happy Family LLC, for placing an audio book from an "indie" studio with so many great vendors; Michael Park, Executive Producer and King of the Cameo Appearance; Peggy Mores, Copy Editor; Paula Bell Communications, printing and web design; Jenny deVillers Fitzell, Webmaster and web art; Jessica Park, logo design and character actor; Mike Knickerbocker, studio construction.
